Question: In the first paragraph of Section 8, it says the oscillators and PLLs are completely integrated with SA-1110 and require no external devices other than the crystals for operation. Although, there are usually capacitors needed for proper crystal function, they are not mentioned or pictured anywhere in the data book. Are they not needed?

Resolution: Capacitors are not necessary and are not used in the evaluation boards. There is a caution in the appendix concerning the startup time and the parasitic capacitance on the board. The implication is that the parasitic capacitance is enough to make the circuit perform

correctly.
