Thank you for saying something so nice!  I really needed to hear that I was sensible, especially after the things I did today.

I went to the post office and unfortunately locked my keys in the car.  It didn't worry me....I "always" have an extra set in my purse.  I picked up my package and returned to the car, only to discover that I didn't have my extras.

A very nice gentleman asked if he could give me a ride and I accepted......we'd been talking while waiting in line and I didn't think he was a Ted Bundy type.  He dropped me at my front door.  I went in, got another spare key and asked my next door neightbor is she could possibly take me back.  She said she'd be happy to do so, and I got back to the Post Office, picked up my car and went home to find the missing set of keys I "always" carry.  Yup!  There they were in a jacket pocket and I promptly put them in my purse.

A little later, I headed to the grocery for dog food.  Went in, got it, and came out, only to discover that I couldn't find my car.  Now I had 2 sets of keys and no car, while earlier I had a car and no keys.

Like you, I hope we can start the New Year off right also!   LOL
