Hi Lambert:
First off, I enjoy reading your posts.
After reading your most recent post relative to the total number of licensees, which I find fascinating (and I hope your position is correct), I went to the PTSC website and looked at their press releases relative to signings, and it is a bit confusing, to say the least. At the following link:
http://www.ptsc.com/news/index.asp
I found two different references to "the 23rd licensee":
"CARLSBAD, Calif. – Sept. 10, 2007 – Patriot Scientific (OTC Bulletin Board: PTSC) announced today that Denso Wave Incorporated has purchased a license for the company's microprocessor-related patent portfolio. Headquartered in Tokyo, Denso Wave becomes the 23rd licensee of the company's valuable portfolio and the third licensee in two weeks.

CARLSBAD, Calif. – October 29, 2007 – Patriot Scientific (OTC Bulletin Board: PTSC) announced today that Royal Philips Electronics has purchased a Moore Microprocessor Patent (MMP) Portfolio license. Philips becomes the 23rd MMP licensee in as many months and the third major European company to purchase a license following Schneider Electric and Nokia Corporation."

Perhaps the difference is strictly semantical - one may be referring to all licenses, including AMD & Intel, while the other excludes them, but quite frankly, I don't really see the difference between "Denso Wave becomes the 23rd licensee of the company's valuable portfolio" and "Philips becomes the 23rd MMP licensee".
Or perhaps it's simply past my bedtime...
GLTAL!
