And that's what I'm trying to point out to you that yes indeed there IS some other press release that states this.

It is the Verigy PR.  In it TPL/Alliacense clearly states that "Since January 2006" ..."over 30 global companies"......"have purchased MMP Portfolio licenses."

The ONLY way TPL/Alliacense can say this is if at least 2 companies PURCHASED LICENSES between Alpine Electronics and Verigy.  The only deals announced in that time frame were the settlements with NEC, Matsushita and Toshiba.

That leaves only 3 options:

1.  TPL is lying.

2.  TPL/PTSC has gone against their nearly 3 year standard of announcing license deals immedicately after their purchased and therefore has some unnannounced license deals.

3.  The J's purchased licenses.
