So I guess the question is whether:

1) PTSC/B&O has squeezed out enough facts to lay in front of TPL/Moore (and Intel) to make them wake up and take advantage of a graceful and generous exit to this situation...

2) Although $ not disclosed, the AMD/PTSC deal struck enough fear with TPL to neutralize any percieved advantage may have had with perceived with Intel.

Your proposal assumes Intel would have written their license agreement to allow assignation - if not, that could be a dealbreaker.

Still, it`s a very plausible end to this story, provided cooler heads prevail all around.
