You are totally right, if you question that here is no patent layer invested who knows how to play the "infriger games". IMO, it would be difficulty even for a patent layer if he is non-involved in the case to give a proper responses. Without the paperwork etc. it's not possible to build up a opinion very well. The only thing such a patent layer can do is to give comments to the current status or procedure, like Ron did all the time.
