I think from the posts since the 13D we can assume his selling is the major factor of the depressed price. Does anyone disagree with that at this point?
Yep, that makes sense.
There are other possibilites for the depressed pps, but maybe to a lesser degree than large blocks of S&L stock selling into news. It has been and continues to defy logic that a company can have zero debt, lots-o-piles-o-cash, more cash coming for the foreseeable future; yet continues to tank with GOOD news.
Some other (lessor) reasons:
1) patent reviews could weigh on some
2) uncertainty of the replacement for Mr. Pohl -- while many seem to dismiss his accomplishments, I do not.
3) settlement specifics being unknown
4) patent reform in the Senate was strongly mentioned by the company in the latest communication, so some might conclude PTSC WILL be affected
5) other????
As for Swartz and gang, I can't blame them one bit. A good portfolio is diversified and they would need to sell a ton of stock just to head in that direction. Swartz was necessary and very needed. Now, we would all like them to go quietly into that good night.
