Aside from the inclusion of the words "reward our shareholders", I have no problem with the rest of that paragraph from the letter. However, IMO, the use of reward implies that the BOD views it as a "treat" to us for them to issue a dividend, when in fact their JOB is to return value to US their employers, and a dividend is simply another tool for them to return that value to us. You make take that as a bash, but it is simply me conveying to the BOD, with the support of other Agora posters if they chose to agree, that the BOD should NOT view ANYTHING they do that provides value to the shareholders as anything BUT them doing the job that they are being paid to do. If they return value to us through dividends and/or preferably through increased share value, then the are doing their job, and depending on the extent of that increased value, they could be doing a great job, for which THEY might be "rewarded" by being voted back onto the board, and/or receiving bonuses and options. That's not a bash on them, that's simply a shareholder (employer) voicing a concern that they keep their perspective in the proper order as their carefully crafted letter implied that perhaps they weren't doing so.
