Loved the novel..and must admit that this is the first time ever that I have seen "golly gee" used in print. I see your point..but consider this..would you be just as supportive if a leading NAACP member were to give a speech using a racially insensitive word in the title of the speech..even if that speech was viewed as supportive of the defamed party? I for one don't like the use of derogatory words in general..even if used to catch attention, or used in a joking manner. These words tend to take on a life of their own and in one utterance seem to define someone or something without needing further inquiry.Bottom line, I agree with the prior poster..if it does not negatively affect the shareprice or the reputation of PTSC - I really don't care.just some thoughts..
