You ask:

"So how many companies worldwide are out there, which have deserved the attribute "Patent Troll" according to your definition? (including all takeovers and mergers in the past 50 years)"

You hit right on the irony of this whole thing. Every one of those companies that throw this term about are equally diligent in defending their patent rights of the patents they hold. And yes, many/most of them did do buy-outs and such to acquire desired tech (i.e., they didn't invent it themselves). The only difference is that they are likely using the tech in their products.

And this points to a "hidden value" of our partnership with TPL (as per Kidd's statement). TPL is using the tech in their products, and this could be revealed in a court situation.

But, the tag is consistently directed at PTSC, not TPL or PTSC/TPL. TPL is mentioned only as an aside. And TPL isn't the publically-traded company.

Question to all: Will the "patent troll" label still stick after PTSC buys out an entity that clearly utilizes MMP tech? Note to PTSC/RG - buy a hardware oriented company first, not a software producer.
