Initially, can we stop talking about Brian like he was some kind of Messiah? You have some nerve to sell your shares then come on here and insult anybody who dared to criticize the great Brian. I have read some of his posts and even when I did not agree with him, I believe he did have an intelligent perspective and I would welcome reading more of what he had to say. However, he apparantly did not have the stones to stand up to some criticism from the shareholders he was appointed to represent so he chose to leave without explanation. Whatever, he is gone so lets move on.

I do share in your concern over TPL's control over the licensing process. As I have said many times before, I think that it creates a conflict of interest to have a private company negotiate confidential agreements on behalf of a public company that has to answer to shareholders. In fact, IMO it is such a blatant conflict and breach of fiduciary duty that I have to believe PTSC has been fully aware of what is happening and given approval. Alternatively, the ultimate terms of the settlements are so good that PTSC is willing to deal with the fall out of the confidentiality rather then start new litigation against TPL. Bad settlements + confidentiality would equal immediate litigation. The point is that IMO TPL does not have as much control as you think and the fact that PTSC is not doing anything about it tells me something. So either way, I have to believe the decisions being made, as clandestine as they may be, are for the ulitmate benefit of the shareholders. Hopefully you will regret your decision.
