I agree that any purchase by the board is welcome but I have to say that it is long overdue and miniscule compared to their compensation over the past years.
If one only looks at it over a years time you are right Am, it is a good % of comp but if she only makes one purchase over five plus years it is not such a great % and Brian is dead on correct.
Now if we should see - And we should - all the board members especially CJ step up and make similar or larger purchases then I would say the game is on. After all they are insiders, not to ptsc but to what TPL is doing. After the shm I decided that what is really important to our future is what Dan Leckrone is doing and saying.
His demeanor and his "I run the show" was persuasive to say the least. He calls the shots and this board is his. He said so in so many words while talking about His insistence that the Board earn more comp for their "work" and the way he controlled the meeting without being escorted out by security.
If we should see the board start buying in mass then believe me they have rec'd word from up North that Dan thinks they should and there probably is a good reason.
I do not think that we need to jump up and down with excitement when we have a very expensive board member put some money into the company that has been a cash cow to her. In closing I do think we need Gloria on the board at least as long as cj is on the board as his comment about NOT understanding numbers and his need to have Gloria explain things to him was unbelievable. To be frank if I could have spoken up at that moment I would have asked from the floor for him to voluntarily resign for lack of adequate intelligence to sit on a tech firm board of directors.
Am I the only one who thought that was a weird comment?
Now before anybody jumps on me ..... I did not make that comment up and anybody who might buy stock after reading post on a BB is not going to buy stock in a company that has a board member that admits to his ignorance during a shm.
An opinion for sure.
God Bless you all and of all that I have written or have ever written this statement is the most sincere as with Gods blessing even the worst of us (certainly including me) will survive forever.
