if I was privy to inside info. and knew that the shareprice would appreciate (uspto etc) would I buy boat loads? At the teens, it would not take much to double, triple this investment with a big victory in uspto.

IMO you are probably correct regarding the confidence factor of the BOD to the immediate concern of the shareprice.
