While I appreciate your spirited debate on this issue, in part, I disagree with you. In a sense, your comments seem to be in line with that line from the movie "A Few Good Men" where Demi Moore's character objects, is denied, objects again, is denied and then "strenuously objects"! Tom Cruise's character summed up the reality in saying it's not necessarily important what's true, but what he can PROVE according the law. After over nearly 2 years (I think!) of trying to PROVE it, TPL has been unable to prove it, despite their "Strenuous" objections. And that's all that REALLY matters...to the company, and to the market's veiw of PTSC.
I hope as you say, that they are able to reverse the decision, but in essence, it seems the '336 is at best "coding" as they say in the hospital, and while Pubpat and their supporters may want a DNR order, hopefully TPL can convince some rogue idealistic doctor to resucitate it. Obviously to date, it by no means seems to be something that the Hospital Asministration is willing to wholly support. In keeping with my movie/tv metaphors, hopefully we can find a doctor like George Clooney's character from ER who is willing to do what's right for the patient (ie the '336, TPL & PTSC), and not necessarily what the extended family of usurpers (all the big unlicensed users of MMP) who are looking for their FREE inheritence NOW, without giving the old patriarch his due.
