Biajj, Thank you for your opinion but don't you think it is more likely that Moore will settle with TPL and not let this go to trial based on the fact that time, money and substantial risk are at stake for both TPL and Moore?
Biajj, Also do you see a possibility that a larger IP patent licensing company like Rambus would be likely to provide the funds to Moore to split from TPL and pick up the licensing responsibility as most believe the patents can bring in a lot more money? This is the only way I see it happening and again I don't know how far Moore is willing to take this due to the time factor of going to trial.
I'm also asking with great respect for you Biajj to please end the personal battles here. You know first hand how it feels to be villified and attempts made to discredit you. Does this then make it right to do it to someone else? I think your above that and I hope we can all end this division and unite around a common purpose to utilize the strengths of each other, even if we don't agree, to gain knowledge and understanding about our common interest PTSC. This is why most of us are still here.
And Milestone, Moore's new chip design being dropped by TPL may be more due to TPL being strapped for cash and unable to fund the program rather than because TPL was involved or that the chip design does not work. It sure looks like moore is trying to advertise the idea so that some company will swoop in and take advantage of the opportunity that appears to be presenting itself. I guess I don't see why it's such a stretch for PTSC to step in and try to keep close ties with Moore and to utilize his genius for additional revenue diversification. PTSC had some experience with the Ignite chip in the past so the concept seems plausible imo even though PTSC's management in the past did not have the resources or the connections to properly market it. And sinc RG is tasked with growing the company beyond the MMP and the shared interest in ownership and licensing the MMP, it looks like a nice fit.
All IMO
All the best,
Steve
