Does anyone else see this issue between Moore and TPL as a positive?

After the initial shock of this news and really stepping back and thinking about it. I see this issue more in a positive light than a negative. I'm sorry to those that can't see this but consider these thoughts I am having.

Shareholders have been kept in the dark about the MMP and the licensing. It's apparent that Dan Leckrone not only had power over the MMP but PTSC as well. And I think he has kept his boot over PTSC's managements mouth for quite some time. This incident provides an opportunity in my mind for RG and PTSC to remove Leckrones boot from their mouths, lesson his power connection with PTSC and assert more power and say on matters concerning the MMP including what is reported after licensing. I hope RG can take advantage of this opportunity.

Also I don't see this going to trial because Dan is a greedy bastard and he isn't going to risk losing the goose that lays the golden eggs imo. He is going to do everything in his power to satisfy Moore and now that this is exposed for the world to see really puts a black eye on his credibility for some of his other business dealings so I think we will see a resolution to this issue soon so it disappears more quickly from the public eye. He wouldn't risk the patents at trial with the J3 even though we seemed to have the upper hand after the Markman so I think that adds credibility to my thinking on this issue.

Also Moore indicated that he needs money to finish his home projects. I think he will be agreeable to resolving this issue soon as well. I think Moore would prevail in court but I think he needs money now and will not want this to drag on for years in court knowing that the licensing window will shrink during that time.

I also like the idea of Moore statements about the ownership of the patents with PTSC. He made no mention of any problems he has with PTSC over the ownership of the patents. I think if RG is as good a guy as we think he is, then I believe Moore appears to have good relations with PTSC and may be someone that PTSC invests in for his genious and to keep him close for help in defending the MMP with the USPTO. What better aquisition could PTSC make than to employ this man. Somthing that always bothered me a little in the past was thatMoore seemed more connected to TPL than PTSC. Again I think this is a great opportunity even if Moore settles his dispute with TPL to be pulled into PTSC for the reasons I stated.

Perhaps this issue has had an effect on the developments with the USPTO. It sheds some light on why the inventor mimself was not included in some meetings with the USPTO to defend the patents and I wonder if the examiner knew about this ownership issue and rejected the patents to allow more time for Moore and TPL to sort this out and to appeal the final rejections with Moore present in front of a 3 person panel.

So even though there is opportunity for it to get ugly and delay licensing or screw up the revalidation of the patents, common sence and reason suggests that there is too much money at stake for both parties and this will be resolved quickly and in my mind it reinforces a power shift for RG, that Biajj has indicated, at PTSC and IMO provides an opportunity for RG to leverage RG's power relationship with TPL as well, which may improve communication as to what can be disclosed to us after each license. And the opportunity is there for in my mind for RG to pull Moore into PTSC in some capacity which gives me goosebumps. For all of these reasons I feel this information that we now have will bring resolution to this problem and opens the door for positive opportunities and implications for the MMP, communication, Rg's power, more oversight of the licensing by PTSC and to employ Moore. These are all positives in my thinking and I would not be surprised to see our stock rise tommorow if people can wrap their heads around this thought process.

All of this is IMO and I appologize for the long wordy post.

I would also appreciate very much if Biajj would weigh in on my thoughts as well as anyone else.

All the best,

Steve
