While working for a large company some years ago the rumor spread one morning that the local company Vice President put his house up for sale. The next morning employees arrived for work to the sight of a FOR SALE sign on the front lawn of our production building. Though the sign out front was meant as a joke by some clever employee, it was only a few days before the official anouncement confirmed the rumors. Most of us employees had FOR SALE signs in front of our homes that same month.
