Duration and cost of proceedings
German nullity proceedings are rather quick; the first instance of a “normal” case will be finalized after approximately 18 to 24 months, the appeal proceedings require about three to four years.

One would expect that we would not wait for the appeal to file infringement. The appeal would not be a defense, nor would it get the proceeding stayed. IMHO
