A few rambling thoughts.....

I love the never ending critiques concerning legal action that TPL is clearly not pursuing or, must have over looked. I feel quite certain the army of lawyers involved in this high stakes poker game are well aware of the prudent options regarding venue selection or any other legal matters. If they feel like they can and should pursue companies in the German courts, I'm sure they will. Something tells me that people on this board weren't the first to think about it.

Also, for the love of god PLEASE stop this bullshit insanity over an R/S. The man just told everyone the option is still on the table but it's not viable at this time. I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind could possibly think it is. Our problems/concerns are much larger at the moment. I would be pissed to find out they had wasted anymore precise time or resources on this issue. If and when it becomes sensible, I'm sure they will evaluate it. The man didn't say, "never".

While I'm happy to see the patent "appears" to be on course for recertification, it seems many here have completely surrendered to the notion that large fees are eminent. It's almost a given according to several posters. I say that kind of sentiment is premature and misleading at best. The only thing investors really have to chew on are the same facts that have been in our possession for the last 2 1/2 years. We have an extremely wide gap between the highest license fees and the lowest. Some of those companies paid a miniscule fee relative to their size and apparent chip usage. Many here believe the smaller fees charged over the last several months were done so to fund TPL and PTSC during the USPTO reexam. Who knows, that may be true but, the fact remains that past financials don't lie. The proof will be in the pudding and they haven't served us any yet. Anyone who doesn't believe that current economic conditions won't come into play really doesn't understand whats going on right now. Getting infringers to the table will be just as tough or tougher. Does Alliacense have the financial prowess to sue hundreds at the same time? I don't think so and because of that, we all know the battle for license fees really begins now. Of course now being able to bring the bat and ball to the game certainly helps. So we wait.
