<Did the appeals court decision apply to the whole 584 patent or just one claim of the patent??>

That's the 64 million dollar question. We know the appeal concerned one phrase of one claim - claim 29. But that claim reads differently now. So does the meaning of that specific phrase still live on, even if it is counter to what the claim currently says? If that is the law, then the law is outrageous, no????
