They DID manipulate the news! Per the 8-K and 10q filings, RG and Bibeau were fired on October 5th! Instead of that news being released that day, they instead release news about the 3 licenses. That can be construed as intentionally misleading, IMO, and if TPL wasn't in control of that news, I'd say outright that it was misleading.
