Sometimes hiring the best people you can find to do the work for you is not quite good enough. I believe you have to have "some" level of expertise to ensure that the people you hire are truly the right fit for the company.

Let's face it, RG looked like a great CEO on paper, but someone with a decent level of expertise most likely could have been able to spot a flaw RG's ideas for the company or in RG himself.

Having all "non-experts" sitting on the board has hurt this company bad.
