Still Twittling My Thumbs and Scratching My Head

Actually double scratching my head with the two thumbs in motion. On the sidelines, watching and awaiting for what I think might be the right time to jump back in. Real tough call.... Waiting the last week appears to have been a wise move what with the downward drift.

There (as always) may be good things about to happen, but there's still that lingering concern over jumping back in only to watch the downward drift continue. I still think the uncertainty over what the company is doing/is about to do about the things they actually control is at an all-time high. On the MMP front, some good things could happen soon....or not.

What concerns me now is the prospect of likely year-end tax loss selling, on top of a need of holiday cash by some. Some may be looking at the timing of expected upcoming events and planning their tax loss selling and (31 days later) buy back around some schedule. It may be that if people think things are going to happen around mid-December, their selling may come in the next week. Worrisome prospect.... The other possible date of interest may be mid-January, when the next 10Q is due - but does anyone really have high expectations for 2nd Qtr. results?

As is obvious, I have truly become a worry wart about my plan to buy - probably overthinking this like I have a habit of doing. I do find it rather humorous that sitting on the sidelines with an itch to jump is as stressful as actually being in the game (owning) - maybe more so! Again, I don't want to jump in to watch my dollars shrink near term, but I sure don't want to be chasing it up if something truly significant happens.

Just sharing my angst..... It sure sucks to KNOW nuttin'!
