I don't believe there is any connection. PTO had until Nov 24th to decide whether to go ahead with the new 336 reexam. 8/24 to 11/24 is 3 months, and I think that is a fixed period for a PTO response to a request for reexam. PTO already decided to go ahead with the reexam. The fact that the cert was issued on the 24th is coincidence only. IMHO
