Interesting. And to think they had two chances to get it right on the lastest reexam request. Makes you wonder that if the new modified, or is it merely clarified, patent has no teeth then why do they continue so hard challenge it. Why spend all that money to "beat a dead horse".
Seven patents with on average 10 claims each, or 70 claims (just guessing) and if only one them were left, say the fish clock, how valuable would that alone be? Major dollars are being squabbled over. I think the odds are heavily in our favor now.
One of the things I find interesting in all of this is Mr. Moore's reactions to the 584 versues the 336 NIRC's. Where he celebrates the 584 and not a word about the 336. It is as if he's revealing he has no connection to the 336. In 2007 Mr. Henneman took over the PTO challenges as if he (Mr. Moore) were releaved of his duties back then and it took almost two years for us to get these revelations of his discontent. He had to know two years ago there were some problems. Could it be that he negoiated his rights away and now that it has passed the reexam he wants to change things. What is the 15,000 a month he gets from TPL, could that be part of the negoiations.
Everyone wants a larger slice of the pie, or is it a (really) dead horse. I think not.
All a mystery.
