“I'm just hoping the FUDsters get their fill and go away soon.”
My sense is those being impugned for the distribution of FUD are simply describing their analysis and conclusions relative to information either put out, or withheld, by the company.
Thus, FUD could be (and should be) looked at another way; as coming from the company itself. Just in the last six months we can objectively view the FUD, one by one:
Fear --- did not the company strike fear into the hearts of investors when it announced a sweep of its executive management; management that heretofore had been thought to have been doing a good job of growing the “umbrella”, as it were?
Uncertainty --- does not the company contribute mightily to uncertainty when it provides no periodic updates (and I mean at least monthly) of the status of our most valuable asset and revenue-generating stream; instead causing investors to have to rely on the diligence, wisdom, speculation, and postings on internet message boards in order to try and gauge the status, validity and intrinsic worth of the asset they own, and the strategy for monetizing same?
Doubt --- does the company’s failure to adequately assess the obstacles to fully monetizing the MMP; the failure to properly assess investments in the “umbrella” strategy; and the failure to employ the right executive management team create doubt in investor’s, or potential investor’s, minds about the BoD?
Perhaps if PTSC and its BoD, the core of which remains intact amid all of the failings, had itself not instigated FUD we would not have to be conversing about it as though a few shareholders on a message board were somehow complicit in the charade.
Poor leadership, poor directorship, and poor management cannot be laid at the foot of a shareholder.
So, “I'm just hoping the FUDsters get their fill and go away soon.”
Me too, …….................…………… get it?
