I don't know how it works that people change their mind/attitude within days, but this board is a great example how the human mind works.
Maybe you remember your answer to one of my posts six weeks ago (though you didn't understand the content of mine your answer is very reasonable compared to your last posts).
After reading it everyone should ask himself why we had this incredible "Company-bashing" in the last weeks - in a time where NOTHING could be accomplished by the BoD or anyone else.
Another ridiculous point is to allege TPL is not going for huge license fees while at the same time TPL gets accused to take the money from Moore and PTSC (not to speak about the characteristics of the Leckrones as "greedy guys" whenever I read something about them in the last years). If the Leckrones/TPL are greedy they will try to get the most out of every license - sounds logical, doesn't it?
By the way: I wish all of you a healthy and wealthy (?) 2010 - let's hope this strange company is the gem we wished it to be since years.

"Nothing will happen"?
A solid quarterly and things will happen, although I don't buy into that idea any time soon and I think it will take more time. Also, a dollar amount attached to any license will torpedo your theory, although I am not holding my breath for an announced dollar amount.
I will hold my breath for a solid quarterly which I think won't happen until next year. I'm sure we will all be commenting on which quarter as we get closer to the first Q.
IMO we must remember that TPL is letting the little fish go to keep the lights on and is waiting for all ducks to be in a row. Validity re: the 336 seems almost locked and infringement still needs to be pressed further, hopefully in Texas, via a new Markman since the claims were amended, but not significantly.
Do you not think an IBM et al (big fish) wouldn't settle for 10 million? Do you think TPL is offering 10 million?
I would say the answers to those questions are yes and no, respectively. If you think about that then imo TPL is holding out for another run.
