I was reviewing the prior reexam timeframe (reexam 90/008,237)

1/19/07 reexam ordered

7/2/08 Non final action

3/17/09 Final rejection

9/11/09 NIRC (notice of intent to reissue rexamination certificate)

12/15/09 Reexamination Certificate Issued

It appears that it was over 17 months from the date the reexam was ordered until a non final action was posted. I have been under the assumption that because we are in the process of a subsequent reexam, the process should be a lot faster. Perhaps a NIRC or non final office action is not likely to show up in the image file wrapper any time soon. However, I certainly don't expect that it will take 17 months again.
