If it weren't for a concerned fiancial analyst (whistleblower), who contacted the SEC, Bernie "made off with the money" Madoff would still be fleecing people today. I don't know if, nor am I suggesting that our BoD are guilty of any wrong doing.
However, I do know that I own a stock in a company whose performance has been less than stellar. I do trust that there are those on this message board who have a better understanding of supposed questionable actions taken by the BoD. Asking, writing, demanding accountability from the BoD been ineffective at best. Their continued silence is felt by me to be a slap in the face.
Demanding accountability by virtue of an SEC investigation does not seem out of line to me. For those who believe that an SEC investigation or even the hint of one will be the reason for some investors to sell....well, I say you too are entitled to your opinion(s).
I bought for the MMP, I hold for the future possibilities but I will not sit still without questioning the actions of those who are running this company (nor should anyone else).
