BaNosser, point taken, but the fact remains that the only way to register a vote 'against' is to actually vote against.

Please note again that I'm not suggesting that the vote count (at least for the SHM before last) necessarily validates BoD's decision-making or level of compensation, just that it provides an indication of the difficulty of shareholder action in making changes. Especially in view that it wouldn't make any difference if votes against were in the majority, other than it would provide strong moral suasion.

Not that the degree of difficulty should necessarily dissuade shareholders from taking action should it be called for but, call me gullible if you like, I'm persuaded that any talk of changes to the BoD at the moment distracts shareholders from consideration of much more important factors. As I'm sure you're aware, I've changed my mind about a few things; I may change it again in the future but that's my thinking at the moment.
