That 60 day deadline was on Jan. 14, 2010. Yesterday's change in Application Data was one day before the 6 week limit: "Mailing of the first action should occur within 6 WEEKS after the appropriate filing or due date of any statement and any reply thereto."

That is if MPEP 2261 should apply:

Perhaps your call was just coincidential in making the change?
