Keep in mind that the 6 week timeframe is only what is aimed for and not necessarily a definite deadline. Patent owners have a time limit to respond to OA's and can request time extensions in some extreme situations but in most OA's, the USPTO can take their sweet time if needed. Take a look at other MMP Trans. Histories and see how the time varies from when "Date Forwarded to Examiner" is posted to when the next OA happens.
It all could be a coincidence but it does look like things are proceeding as they should at the USPTO IMHO (except for that response to the '890 OA which has been received but not posted). I think it's obvious that the Barco, etc litigation timing is designed to follow USPTO results in hopes of it being easier to make decisions once court dates are arrived at.
