Message: Communication with USPTO - Update

According to yours and SGE1's postings, your original contact with the USPTO commenced on or before May 19, 2010.

The current re-exam was ordered on Nov 14, 2009, essentially 8 months ago. The previous re-exam on the '336 took a little less than 6 months from the date the re-exam was ordered, until the date of the first office action.

Considering it's been approximately 8 months since the re-exam was ordered, and it's clear office actions on this patent could take as little as 6 months, and we've heard the average to be around 9 months, based on your communications, when do you expect the USPTO to issue its first OA on the latest re-exam?

Considering we're already near the "typcial" timeframe that many patents take, and in fact past the time frame it took on the first go around, is there anything that the USPTO has said that would indicate the contact has impacted their review schedule either positively or negatively?

Thanks.
