"why wasn't the mistake promptly and publicly corrected, either by Brian or by Pohl?"

Great question! Too bad you refuse to accept the answers. IN FACT, Brian HAS corrected the error, many times. You've read them over and over. However, oddly enough, as you display by asking the very question, you don't accept Brian's correction. Essentially, the ONLY thing that appears to be acceptable to many here on this board, is for Brian to confess to something that isn't true, or to correct it in exactly the fashion that each accuser deems is acceptable. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Considering Pohl and PTSC issued the PR, it's Pohl and PTSC's issue to correct. Considering, the same company has:

  • issued PR's stating they've hired companies from one location, while IN FACT, the company hailed from somewhere else
  • or that their partner has issued PR's, which by agreement they have to approve, that state licensing fees are increasing, when IN FACT, they were not
  • or that states they will be arguing for unsealing of a hearing on a specific date, when they did not
  • etc. etc.

I'd say it's pretty clear that PTSC doesn't put a great value in clarifying its mistatements, or necessarily being forthright with shareholders or the market in general. That they mistated a shareholders professional credentials, in reality affects the company not at all, and considering the way they value shareholders, clearly would be of no concern to them how that might affect the particular shareholder.

While you shed light on the issue, the REAL question to ask, is why PTSC continues to display this type of communication strategy where they make statements that aren't fully accurate, and then refuse to correct or update them. That question has been asked many times, certainly by me, and many others, and the response supplied by the usual suspects here and at the company is either silence, or misdirection and obfuscation.
