As an erstwhile warrant holder and current "large shareholder", he will have had direct access to the BoD for many years, where his opinion and views will no doubt have been made clear.
Being on the BoD will not make one iota of difference to that, and in actual fact he will be able to say far less to shareholders because of it.
The only solution to your demands is an opposing slate of nominees as any individual, no matter whom, will not be able to turn up at a board meeting, wave a magic wand, and instantly facilitate the proposals.
A "wish list" is wonderful for garnering support, but without the ability to make it happen it merely raises expectations which can't be fulfilled.
If your group believes that the current BoD are incapable of returning value to us shareholders now that several obstacles have been removed, I too want to see "MOTIVATED people that will push for us", and I look forward to seeing their names and undertakings on the proxy.
