After all someone is being sued for fraud concerning some of these events.
I found this comment on another board regarding fraud in banking. Is it the same in our industry?
"Saying the allegations of FRAUD is very easy but proving the FRAUD is very difficult at both levels of civil and criminal courts since the deregulation atmosphere was pushed so hard by many policy makers and politicians rather than controlling since 1997."
I think we need to apply the same rational in the TPL/PTSC case that we use for patent infringers, they eventually settle instead of going the distance to trial . What is that number again? 90% plus cases settle before going to trial.
A little more time is needed to unravel the accusations and claims and get to the facts through interoggatories and depositions, then the settlement thoughts will begin to surface. After all, there is all that money out there just waiting to be collected on the 336 isn't there?
IMO TPL/PTSC will settle, when is anybodies guess, as is who comes out on top.
The T3 will settle too, unless they are the chosen one's by our side, to be made the example by means of a trial victory.
I do support the action against TPL by PTSC.
