LOL...what's a good 'ol election in the US (whether political or corporate) without dragging a candidate name through the mud!
Maybe instead of an election they can have a contest...mud wrestling comes to mind and seems perfect for this situation. Maybe a scrabble game that can show intellect and ability to think under pressure. Whatever is chosen it surely can be based on past practice, history, stake in the company, or future vision.
Or maybe we can create so much subterfuge that things will remain status quo and benefit the same people it always has, The BOD, Insiders, and their buddies.
How many categories of voters do you think there are? The standard political ones (white, hispanic, conservative, liberal etc etc etc) don;t apply.
There are definitely insiders.
There are definitely outsiders.
I think within that catergory are many subdivisions. Those that are upside down in a big way. Those that are about even, or have little money in and don't really care, and I think the rarest of all, those that are up big time (not including insiders).
There are astute investors, day/swing traders (very few), people that are shorting from a foreign account (even fewer), neophytes, the gullible (unfortunately I think these last 2 categories make up the biggest percentage of voters) and a small percentage of gamblers that can afford the risk.
Now in a corporate enviornment like this...who stands to gain from subterfuge and staus quo?
I know the answer for myself anyway.
