<squandering precious cash on meaningless investments>
When the investments were made, they were made with the full understanding that they were infant business needing time, money and support if they were ever to amount to anything. We could not afford to invest in anything that was already established and profitable. I do not consider that squandering.
Perhaps PTSC, like its shareholders, mistakenly assumed that the MMP revenues would continue sufficiently to see these businesses through. I might fault them for not having sufficient foresight in that respect. But, IMO, that is sqandering only in 20/20 hindsight. There is no way anyone could have known what the USPTO would be an infringers best friend.
