Just one of the reason why I desired our ties with TPL to end. They never did have the resourses to fight the fight, only gained them after the discounted signings, which was for their benefit not ours. They burned thru $ 40 mil of their cash reserves developing chips at Intelsys with Charles Moore when it should have been set aside for a rainy day, such as today. They continued with the discounted licenses because of that poor decision. PTSC, TPL, and Moore have made some stupid blunders when common sense would have prevailed. Never count your chickens until the eggs hatch. I don't know why they call it common, when there doesn't seem to be too much of it going around.
Now, we may be left with this one chance to succeed, or fail. At a technical stand point we have much more in our favor than at any other time. We just need our cash reserves to fight the good fight. Perhaps why PTSC kept a blind eye to TPL's expense and accounting shenanigans. Once it went public they had to respond.
