"well we dont talk about that because the company has pretty much shut the door to any information regarding our patents. we have heard the mantra "we are in court so we are unable to discuss", we have heard that "we must keep all dollar amounts or details confidential regarding a licensee for startegic reasons".
You get dollar amounts for MMP license signings each time a quarterly report is filed. So I don't agree that it can't be discussed. It more appears you don't want to discuss it.
"--"Do you anticipate that the BOD will do something different with future MMP revs?" NO. that is why i would like to see a change in the BOD."
So would I , but it's not likely to happen. Do you agree or disagree with that?
"I thought I was pretty clear when I stated I hold because I am too deep underwater to sell at pennies."
Sorry, but that doesn't make sense. Being underwater on an investment doesn't make you hold it. In fact, most investment literature I've read says to use a certain percentage of loss as a guideline as to when to get rid of an investment. Put your money to better use elsewhere. If you can find me some kind of authoritative guidance that advises you to hold on to your losers even tighter I'd certainly like to see it.
As for the next part I realize we will never agree but I will give my opinion again anyway - you will never generate any change at PTSC (or any company, for that matter) by posting messages on a message board. It's a ludicrous concept IMO. Why anyone with any kind of common sense would think that that is the best course of action to take is beyond me. And therefore one has to come to the conclusion that there are other reasons why it is being done. But I guess we really can't go there, can we.
"Unless you prefer to bank that drum that you accuse others of banging." YES. But I dont bang the same drum."
So that makes it OK for you. I was under the impression from your posts on the subject that drum banging should stop. Did I get the wrong impression?
"would you like to discuss what was done with that $300 million? "
More drum banging. I was talking about the future and what it could bring. If you think it will bring nothing if the BOD remians in place then I think you would be a fool to stay invested in this stock since it doesn't look like the BOD will change any time soon.
What do you think the potential of future licensing revenue is?
What do you think should be done with that revenue - dole it out to the shareholders in the form of dividends, invest it in other businesses, invest it in other technologies, other thoughts?
