Claim 7 is dependent and not all that important. Independent claim 4 is important and it specifically includes a ring oscillator as the system clock. My thinking is that if you infringed on claim 4 of the 148 patent you probably already infringed on the 336. So I do not believe it is a great loss. But I do not profess to know with any degree of certainty.

Claims 1,2,3,5,6,9,11,12 and 13 remain as either not subject to reexamination or approved.

I suspect that the ball is now in our court. Whether to appeal the decision on claims 4 and 7, or just go with the rest.
