come on optik... i believe your heart is in the right place but you lay the same scenario out each time we engage in a discussion regarding new managment.
----Who picks a new BOD and CEO? Were do we find qualified applicants that are looking for work and have enough talent?
the issue of qualified candidates is one that should be used to evaluate what we currently have as a bod. they had no qualifications prior to being the PTSC BOD. For me, change for sake of change at this point is fine. Who picks? Why cant we have a list of candidates and the shareholders vote. if talent is the issue then we have already missed the mark with the the current group. the strucutre of ptsc currently is basically a holding company for the revenues of MMP licenses. in this scenario, we really dont need a bod. revenues could just be redistributed in dividends. if the goal of ptsc is to grow as a company then new leadership would be a ideal. If the BOD were willing to step down, a company could be hired to find potential replacements. the bod has failed, admmitted so, and yet they refuse to step down....why? Dire Straits comes to mind........."money for nothing and chicks for free".
Do you have a plan? I have read numerous plans about change. The real problem is the way the BOD is structured it is very difficult to replace them.
the question is not easy to resolve but open, honest discussion is the seed of change.
