As I stated in both previous missives that it was my opinion. However, I base my opinion on several factors, including but not limited to:
8-13-10 press release:
First and foremost, I know everyone is interested in the status of our relationship with the TPL Group and matters affecting the MMP(TM) Portfolio. These issues have been amongst the most pressing in the Company's history and have occupied a significant portion of mine and our Board's time. Despite our attempts at resolving our differences through negotiations, at this point we are pressing forward with our litigation efforts against TPL and their licensing division Alliacense, as we believe this is the best way we can preserve our interests in the important MMP Portfolio asset.
2-3-11 press release
Earlier this month Patriot and TPL resolved a number of issues that arose over the past year related to the licensing and litigation activities of the MMP Patent Portfolio. The resolution included an agreement to provide a substantial increase in working capital for the MMP licensing program and patent infringement litigation from MMP licensing proceeds. The increased commitment reflects the companies' recognition of the strength and growing confidence in the MMP Portfolio based on the long string of successes in defeating multiple re-examination attacks in both the USPTO and Europe, as well as the continued pace of the MMP Licensing Program which totals over 80 world-class Licensees to date.
On January 24, 2011, Patriot dismissed the action it had filed on April 12, 2010, against TPL in San Diego Superior Court in conjunction with TPL's cash settlement of the outstanding obligation. TPL has also agreed to increased involvement of Patriot in the oversight of the MMP Portfolio activities. Talks between Patriot and TPL continue as the parties work to resolve the remaining lawsuit in Santa Clara County.

Thank you fir your inquiry. The Company has had on embargo for a period of time a press release to address status matters. The Company expects to issue the release within approximately seven to ten days based on the culmination of certain events.
Please be advised the Company takes very seriously its disclosure decisions. Announcements are evaluated balancing the public’s desire for information against the occurrence or lack thereof of material events, the reporting requirements stipulated by law and regulatory agencies, and probably most underappreciated and highly applicable to Patriot at this time, the need to manage objectives associated with litigation and prospective settlement matters.
Based on the above, I see a pattern from PTSC which clearly exhibits a fundamental principal goal of reconciliation with TPL. As far as the new licensee’s are concerned, there are similar blurbs from previous PR’s echoing my sentiments. Again, all my opinion. kw
