You don't need to apologize. Your exit strategy whatever it may be and your reasons for hanging in there whatever they may be are your business and nobody else's business.

Many of us share your frustrations and are too far down financially to wrap our heads around selling now and so we wait, hope and pray (perhaps foolishly) for that slight bump that will initiate the exit.
