Yes. Both companies were able to sell licenses w/o the other and did.

Probably for more than one reason. First to end the litigation and risk that comes with it, to avoid a price war with PTSC and the favorable terms of the MA. Doubt anyone here would argue that the MA terms favored TPL. Water under the bridge at this point. Hopefully a new agreement or dissolution of the present one will resolve that issue.
