We need the divvy for the short term but it is just a band-aid. I have, as many here have come to the realization that current management needs to be removed. We had two off the wall technologies that could have been more developed and had some sound foundation (ground penetrating radar and the plasma gas antenna) so, we gave those away. There was also the rumors of the placements of electric meters in India, Air conditioning controls in Russia and Cable TV boxes to name a few.

We were a processor designer that never fabricated

A software company without sales

A secured network company without networks

Now, we are a licensing company that has no control in their own licensing efforts.

Like it or not, those are the facts. If we used the money spent on buying lame companies and instead applied it to R&D we could possibly have something to show for it. If Patriot had a voice in licensing, they could entice a couple of manufactures to fab and port the processor to a newly manufactured device by offering a discount. That would give us notoriety and credibility. Success in any of theses areas would give us some credibility in the eyes of investors but, when you cant follow through or execute the plan people don’t have much faith in your ability to become successful. Right now, the powers that be cannot even come up with a plausible tag line to get people interested. The only product that had any sales was the old tiger shark modems, funny how that is now surfacing in the new PR. How much can the stock price rise without a plan of renewable revenue going forward? Any plan that would perk the share price would be overshadowed by the fact there is no success in our endeavors and it all goes back to the management. The BOD is like a caretaker of an estate that has no interest in the estate ever being sold. I can’t help but feel they think of Patriot as their steady income going into retirement and have no desire to change the status quo. We need people with real experience and polish in operating and growing publicly traded companies to be in full control when and if the money begins to flow. Dividends are a good temporary measure but I would give that up for a business strategy that will get us to five bucks a share.
