I disagree. It's not that they need to believe they're legit. They've been legit for a long, long time. I'm not sure at what point ( 2 MH's?, 3 MH's? 4 MH's?) or how many re-exams one needs to decide they're legit.

Who is your they above? Mine is the infringers... and in the eyes of the infringers the MMP has not been legit.. not with what licensors have been paying.. This Markman that we could get any day is the next big hurdle.. a win here and it could change the game.. will it? that will need to be seen... After 17 or so Reexams (some probably brought by the HTC or Acer or Barco) and a decisive win in the Claim Construction.. it will be very interesting to see how the T3 continue.. Will they see the writing on the wall.. or will they risk defeat at trial..? and the damages that could result..? With a decisive Markman Ruling each of the T3 will have to decide what is best for them.. They've tried everything they can to ruin the MMP...

With the reexams behind us, this Markman is the key to everything that happens with the MMP...
