I don't doubt that many were so enticed, but to the contrary, I believe my simple example illustrates how UN likely it is that only 1000 people own PTSC's 405M shares. In fact, while i don't have the willingness to really figure out what it means, the facts are that for periods at a time over the last 5 years, PTSC traded above 30 cents and even 60 cents, so a 500K share investment represents $150K at 30 cents or even $300K at 60 cents. And considering the losses you believe most face, that means that a typical $40K investement buys much fewer shares at these elevated prices than it does at the assumed 10 cent price I cited.

What that means is that fewer shares per share holder inevitabley means MORE shareholders based on my simple example. I'm not sure what period palslysone is referring to when he says he checked the rolls but if it were in the 2007 time frame of the J3 ruling, that would mean that for most of the prior year, PTSC had traded on average well over 50 cents per share, and turned over most of the float, so at that point, there was around 380M shares outstanding and assuming that 300M of them changed hands at above 50 cents, that would mean that $150M was spent to buy those shares, so even if you limit the transactions to 1000 shareholders, and ignore the other 80M or so that didn't change hands in that time period, 1000 shareholders will have had to have spent $150K each on average. Perhaps...but I don't believe it.

I believe there are thousands of PTSC shareholders and perhaps even over 10,000 who have some level of investment. 1000 shares, 5000 shares, etc. If 10,000 people, had 10,000 shares each that would only be 100M shares. That to me is believable. Average people would be willing to gamble 10,000 shares at 30 cents or 50 cents in a penny stock without a too much of a problem with the homerun twinkle in their eye. That would still leave 300M shares to be divided among some large shareholders in the nature of my simple model.

It would be a good question for someone to ask PTSC.... that is someone who PTSC will actually respond to, lol.
