The motion you cite about Barco's request to attend the Markman by phone was filed on 11/28 and subsequently granted by the Judge on 11/29.

However, the settlement order was filed on 11/29, AFTER the request to attend the Markman by phone. The Settlement Order that was filed expressly states that previous motions are "deemed withdrawn", so they had no "interest" in the claims construction hearing according to the filing.
