I think it's simply a matter of sheer frustration from shareholders that have put a lot of time in DD and promises that have not been fullfilled. (for many years) However it's not all on the BOD. I imagine that fortune 500 companies don't feel like paying 10's of millions, perhaps 100's of millions without putting up some sort of resistance. Deep pockets can tie up the courts for a long time.

I think we still have a tough road ahead. Appeals, etc. etc.

I'm cautiously optimistic.
